Energy 4 Humanity partners with other organizations such as Solar United Neighbors, Baker Ripley, and South Union Community Development Corporation to identify candidates, deliver information and execute projects. We are open to new partnership opportunities that would help us expand our reach and effectively execute our mission. Please contact us with any questions or interest.
Solar United Neighbors (SUN) is a community of people building a new energy system with rooftop solar at the cornerstone. They help people go solar, join together, and fight for their energy rights. If you are interested in going solar, you should definitely reach out to them first.
South Union Community Development Corporation (SUCDC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established to help develop the South Union community and surrounding areas of Houston. Efrem Jernigan does a great job teaching community children and adults STEM topics often focused on solar, aquaponics, and energy storage systems.
Baker Ripley targets strengthening community engagement, improving financial well-being and increasing educational attainment in every community we serve. They have numerous community centers throughout Houston and offer a very diverse range of services. Among those services are helping homeowners weatherproof and insulate their homes. These homes have completed the first steps towards energy efficiency and are potentially good candidates for solar systems.
